Training
The RFI offers its members a range of training opportunities, from access to the RBA eLearning Academy platform to in-person trainings offered in multiple languages by the Responsible Business Alliance. RBA trainings are designed to support all learners on their continuous improvement journey.
Note: All RBA events and in-person training sessions open to RFI members, their suppliers and the public/others, are listed on the events page of our website. If you have a question about whether an event or training is with or on behalf of the RBA, please contact us.
RBA e-Learning Academy
The RBA e-Learning Academy provides RFI members with best-in-class online trainings on a range of sustainability topics from CSR program management to methods to combat trafficked and forced labor in the supply chain. With over 80 training modules, the RBA eLearning Academy allows learners to progress through training modules at their own pace on their own computer. The RBA frequently reviews internal and external sources for new training materials, and occasionally commissions custom training modules.
The RBA e-Learning Academy is available to RFI members. The eLearning Academy also offers training resources about RBA tools, such as RBA-Online and the Validated Assessment Process. One of the most popular modules is the RBA’s online Code of Conduct course, which can also be made available outside the Learning Academy. Members can find the latest Course Descriptions document in the RBA Service Portal under the Training folder or can email training@responsiblebusiness.org to request a copy.
We frequently add trainings – please contact us with questions or contributions for our eLearning Academy.
RBA In-Person Trainings
The RBA offers its Code of Conduct and VAP Audit Preparation course several times a year in multiple locations. Please see our events page for details on upcoming, in-person trainings.
RBA Code of Conduct Training: This course will be beneficial to those who are new to the RBA Code. Participants will learn about Code requirements and how to implement them across their organizations.
RBA VAP Preparation Workshop: This course will help prepare participants to undergo VAP audits. It will cover a range of topics including what to expect, documents needed, CAP management, how the audit is being scored, and what pitfalls to avoid.
The RBA has also partnered with service providers on other trainings in the past, including Worker-Management Communication Training, Health and Safety Training, and Industrial Hygiene. Please contact the training@responsiblebusiness.org if you are interested in other topics.
